- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. warm water
- 3 Tbsp. instant potato flakes
Directions

1Mix all ingredients together, making sure sugar is dissolved. Pour into a quart jar with holes punched in the lid.

2Let stand at room temperature for 24 hours.

3Starter is now ready to use.
