- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. instant potatoes
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. instant potato flakes
- 1 c. warm water
Directions

1Mix well. Let stand out of refrigerator all day (8 to 10 hours). This does not rise, only bubbles. Take out 1 cup to use in making bread. Return starter to refrigerator.

2Keep in refrigerator for 3 to 5 days, then feed again.

3If not making bread after feeding, throw away 1 cup or give to a friend. Starter must be fed every 3 to 5 days.
