- 2 c. flour
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 2 c. warm water
Directions

1Whip the ingredients gently with a whisk until well combined. Cover loosely and let set at room temperature for three days, stirring daily.

2At the end of 3 days, starter should be bubbly when you stir it and have a clean, sour aroma.

3The starter is now ready for use.

4It may be stored in refrigerator for 14 days.

5To replenish after using, add 1 cup flour, 1 cup milk and 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar.
