- 6 ears white corn
- 6 strips fatback
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- salt to taste
Directions

1Shuck corn.

2Wash and remove silk.

3Cut kernels off corn after cutting the kernels in half with a sharp knife.

4Scrape juice out of corncob into the corn.

5Add flour, sugar and salt to taste. Stir, then add water.

6Fry strips of fatback until all grease is out of meat.

7Place fatback aside.

8Then add fatback drippings to corn.
-
9Cook over slow heat, stir constantly.
-
10Simmer until corn is tender, about 20 to 25 minutes.
