Southern Green Beans

  • 2 -3 lbs fresh green beans
  • 1 yellow onion
  • beef bouillon granules
  • 1 -2 tablespoon oil
  • water

Directions

    After washing green beans place in a large stockpot and cover with water.

    Slice ends off onion, place whole onion in pot with beans.
  3. 3
    Add 4-6 tbsp (this is a guesstimate, I just do it to taste until water is brown color) of granules and oil.

    Boil beans and cook down water.
  5. 5
    Continue to add water and cook down until beans are tender.
  6. 6
    Remove onion before serving.
