- 1 c. butter
- 4 c. self-rising flour
- 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
- butter, melted
- cooked ham, sliced and cut into 1 1/4-inch squares
Directions

1Cut 1 cup butter into flour until mixture resembles coarse meal.

2Stir in buttermilk until dry ingredients are moistened. Knead dough 3 or 4 times on lightly floured surface.

3Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness.

4Cut with a 1 1/2-inch biscuit cutter. Place on lightly greased baking sheets.

5Bake at 425° for 12 to 14 minutes.

6Brush with melted butter.

7Serve with ham and mustard.
