- 1 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. white corn syrup
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 3 eggs
- 1 3/4 c. pecans
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp. salt
Directions

1Blend sugar and margarine in saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil.

2Blend hot mixture into beaten eggs slowly.

3Add pecans, vanilla and salt.

4Pour into unbaked pie shell.

5Bake in moderate oven at 375° for 30 minutes.

6Serve warm or cold.
