- 1 c. sour cream
- 2 sticks butter
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream butter.

2Add sugar; beat well.

3Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

4Combine flour and soda; add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream, beginning and ending with flour mixture.

5Mix well after each addition.

6Stir in vanilla.

7Pour batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until cake tests done. Cool cake in pan 10 to 15 minutes; remove from pan and cool completely.
