Southern Style Beef Stew

- 2 lb. stew beef
- 5 medium size potatoes
- 3 medium size onions
- 3 carrots
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. white pepper
- salt to season
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Cut your stew beef into 1 to 2 inch size and toss in the mixture of flour and white pepper.

2Cut potatoes and onions into 1 inch size.

3Cut carrots up.

4Put all of the ingredients into a slow cooker.

5Add water and cook on low heat for 6 to 8 hours. When you get ready to serve, turn the slow cooker up to high.

6Mix the cornstarch and water together.

7Add a little of the hot broth from the pot to the mixture, then add this mixture to the slow cooker.

8Let cook until it thickens.

9Serve over rice or egg noodles.
