Southwest Bean Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 1/2 ounce) can kidney beans
  • 1 (15 1/2 ounce) can black beans
  • 1 (4 ounce) can green chilies, chopped
  • 1 (16 ounce) can corn
  • 12 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 3 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 12 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 dash cayenne pepper
  • salt and pepper
  • water

Directions

    Saute onion and carrots until tender.

    In a large pot, add all ingredients including carrots and onion.

    Add water to barely cover ingredients.

    Bring to boil; reduce heat to warm.

    Cook for two hours.

    Serve with corn bread!
