- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons sherry
- 3 tablespoons minced fresh ginger (unpeeled)
- 4 large cloves garlic, coarsely chopped
- 2 1/2 cups water
Directions

1Combine the soy sauce, sherry, ginger, garlic and water in the bottom of the steaming equipment.

2Bring to a boil.

3Reduce heat and simmer for 1 minute.

4Begin steaming.

5Add boiling water if too much of the liquid evaporates before cooking is complete.
