Ingredients
- 1 cup TVP (Texturized Vegetable Protein) chunks
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 cup water hot
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 each bay leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves whole
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce, tamari
- 1/2 cup soy sour cream
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Directions

1Combine TVP chunks, ketchup and water.

2Soak for 5 minutes.

3Add an additional cup of water and simmer on top of the stove for 20 minutes, until tender.

4Combine vinegar, 1/2 cup water, honey, bay leaf and cloves in a pan.

5Bring to a boil and then add TVP.

6Remove from heat and let marinate overnight in the refrigerator.

7Remove TVP chunks and set aside.

8Drain marinade, remove cloves.

9Add cornstarch, soy sauce and sour cream to the marinade.

10Heat oil in a skillet.

11Add TVP chunks and cook until heated through.

12Stir in marinade and cook for a few minutes more.

13Serve over noodles.
