Ingredients

  • 1 large head cabbage, cut up
  • 1 bunch celery, including leaves
  • 4-6 large onions, cut up
  • 1 green pepper, including seeds
  • 1 qt. canned tomatoes
  • small amount brown rice (optional)
  • 1 qt. water

Directions

    Cut up cabbage, celery onions, peppers and put in large pan (Dutch oven size). Add 1 qt. water and simmer until vegetables are tender.

    Add tomatoes and cool.

    Store in refrigerator.

    Heat a bowl of soup anytime you feel hungry.
