- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1/2 c. diced bell pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, finely diced
- 1 Tbsp. ground oregano
- 1 (1 lb.) can stewed tomatoes
- 1 large can tomato sauce
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1/2 to 1 c. Holland House red cooking wine
- 1 pkg. spaghetti
- Parmesan cheese, grated
- salt to taste
Directions

1Brown onion and pepper until onion is transparent.

2Add ground chuck, garlic and oregano; brown.

3Stir in tomatoes, sauce and paste, then add salt.

4Cook over low heat, 2 1/2 to 3 hours, add the wine and cook 15 more minutes.

5Serve over hot cooked spaghetti and sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top.
