- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. butter/margarine
- 4 oz. pancetta or 6 slices bacon, diced small
- 1 lb. spaghetti
- 5 eggs, well beaten
- 1/2 c. Romano or Parmesan cheese, grated
- black pepper
Directions

1Heat the oil and butter in a skillet.

2Add the pancetta/bacon. Saute until golden.

3Lift from fat with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

4Cook the pasta in plenty of boiling water until al dente or firm to the bite, about 10 minutes; drain.
