Spaghetti Carbonara Pie

  • 12 oz. spaghetti
  • 6 slice bacon
  • 1 container ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 c. grated
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 pinch pepper and nutmeg
  • 2 c. milk

    Cook spaghetti as label directs; drain.

    In skillet, cook 6 slices diced bacon over medium heat until browned.

    Drain on paper towels.

    In blender, mix ricotta cheese, Pecorino Romano cheese, eggs, pepper, nutmeg and 1/2 cup milk.

    In saucepot, combine pasta, ricotta mixture, bacon and 1 1/2 cups milk; stir.

    Spoon into 2 1/2-quart baking dish.

    Bake at 375 degrees F for 35 to 40 minutes, until nearly set and golden around edges.

    Let sit 10 minutes before serving.
