  • 1 lb. spaghetti noodles
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lb. fresh mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 c. cottage cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. chopped green onions
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar

Directions

    Cook noodles according to directions on package.

    Brown meat and mushrooms in butter.

    Add salt, sugar, tomato sauce and paste. In a separate bowl, mix cottage cheese, cream cheese, onions, pepper and sour cream.

    Put 1/2 of mixture in bottom of casserole dish.

    Layer with noodles and beef mixture.
