Ingredients

  • 20 to 25 lb. ground beef
  • 3 c. chopped onions
  • 8 carrots, grated
  • 5 gal. tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 c. minced garlic
  • 10 lb. spaghetti
  • 2 c. Romanoff cheese, grated
  • spices: oregano, parsley flakes, Italian seasoning, sweet basil, bay leaf, salt, pepper and Romanoff cheese (season to taste)

Directions

    Cook meat until beginning to turn color.

    Add onion and continue to cook until just done and light brown.

    Drain off fat. Put in large container or divide into 2 pots.

    Add the rest of the ingredients, except the spaghetti.

    Simmer about 2 hours, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

    Serve over cooked spaghetti.
