  • 6 oz. spaghetti
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 lb. ground beef or sausage (bulk pork) or combination
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped or 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 (7 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes with juice, chopped (1 c.)
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
  • 1 c. cream-style cottage cheese, drained
  • 2 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded (1/2 c.)

Directions

    Cook spaghetti according to directions.

    Drain (yields about 3 1/4 cups). Stir margarine or butter into hot spaghetti.

    Stir in well-beaten eggs and Parmesan cheese.
