- 6 oz. spaghetti
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 lb. ground beef or sausage (bulk pork) or combination
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, chopped or 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 (7 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes with juice, chopped (1 c.)
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
- 1 c. cream-style cottage cheese, drained
- 2 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded (1/2 c.)
Directions

1Cook spaghetti according to directions.

2Drain (yields about 3 1/4 cups). Stir margarine or butter into hot spaghetti.

3Stir in well-beaten eggs and Parmesan cheese.

4Press spaghetti mixture into a buttered 10-inch plate, forming a crust.
