  • 8 oz. spaghetti, cooked and drained
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 2 well beaten eggs
  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
  • 14 oz. tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1 c. cottage cheese
  • 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese

Directions

    Stir butter, eggs and Parmesan cheese into spaghetti. Pour into a 9 x 13 baking dish. Brown beef with onion and green pepper, pouring off any fat. Stir in tomato sauce, sugar and spices. Heat thoroughly. Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti mixture and spread meat mixture over cottage cheese. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Spread Mozzarella cheese over baked dish and return to oven for 5 to 10 minutes, until cheese melts.
