- 6 oz. spaghetti
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 well beaten eggs
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 c. cottage cheese
Directions

1Cook and drain spaghetti; stir in butter, Parmesan cheese and eggs.

2Form a crust in 10-inch buttered pie plate.

3In skillet, cook meat, onion and green pepper until meat browns and vegetables are tender.

4Drain off excess fat; add tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano and garlic salt.

5Heat.

6Next spread cottage cheese over spaghetti crust, then spread meat mixture over cottage cheese.

7Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20 minutes.

8Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese on top and bake 5 minutes longer.
