- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. spaghetti, broken into 2-inch pieces
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 4 oz. Mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 c. cottage cheese
Directions

1Cook spaghetti in boiling, salted water.

2Drain.

3Place in baking dish, 13 x 9 x 2-inches.

4Stir in butter, Parmesan cheese, salt and egg.

5Spread evenly in pan.

6Saute ground beef in oil. Drain off fat.

7Stir in sauce, sugar, oregano and garlic salt. Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti.

8Layer in pan and top with meat mixture.

9Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

10Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese on top and bake 10 minutes longer.

11Let stand 15 minutes before cutting.
