Spaghetti Pie

  • 6 oz. spaghetti
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 c. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 lb. Italian sausage or 1 lb. ground turkey plus 3/4 tsp. basil and 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/3 tsp. fennel or anise
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste and 1 c. water or 2 cans tomato sauce (8 oz.) and 1/3 c. water
  • 4 oz. sliced Mozzarella cheese

Directions

    Break spaghetti in half and cook in boiling water until done (10 to 11 minutes); drain.

    Add eggs, well beaten, and Parmesan to spaghetti.

    Press into greased 10-inch pie pan; form up sides.
