- 1 bushel tomatoes
- 3 lb. onions
- 4 hot peppers
- 2 c. oil
- 1 Tbsp. basil
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
- 1/2 c. salt
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- garlic cloves
- 4 (12 oz.) cans tomato paste
Directions

1Boil tomatoes until soft, strain.

2Cook onions and hot peppers in 2 cups oil until onions are soft.

3Add rest of ingredients with tomatoes and cook 3 hours.

4Then add tomato paste.

5Bring to boil and pour into jars or freeze in containers enough for serving.
