  • 1/2 c. self rising flour
  • 1 1/2 c. self rising corn meal
  • 1 c. grated cheese
  • 1/4 c. cooking oil
  • 1 1/4 c. sweet milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 can niblets corn, drained
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 sm. onion, chopped

Directions

    Beat eggs, add oil, milk, sugar, flour and meal.

    Add chopped ingredients, cheese and corn.

    Stir well.

    Grease a large iron skillet and sprinkle with meal.

    Heat slightly.

    Pour in batter. Bake at 400° about 45 minutes or until browned.
