- 2 lb. green beans
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- chopped parsley to taste
- 1 clove garlic, pressed
- 1/4 lb. ham, chopped
- 1/4 lb. bacon, chopped
- 3 oz. white wine
- dash of nutmeg
- salt to taste
Directions

1Cook beans in boiling salt water until tender; drain.

2Heat olive oil in large skillet.

3Add onions, parsley, garlic, ham and bacon; cook until ham and bacon are done.

4Add wine, nutmeg and salt.

5Add beans and small amount of water, if necessary.

6Cover; simmer until heated through.

7Coarse black pepper sprinkled on top can be added.

8Makes 6 servings.
