- 2 1/2 lb. hamburger
- 1 qt. tomato juice
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 6 celery stalks, finely chopped
- 8 slices toasted bread
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 bottle catsup
Directions

1Fry meat, onions, celery, salt and pepper until meat is gray (don't brown).

2Break toast into small pieces and put in a large roaster with hamburger mixture.

3Pour tomato juice and catsup over all and mix.

4Bake in a 350° oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

5Makes delicious hot sandwiches for a gathering.
