- light oil
- salt
- pimento, chorizo, olives, etc. may be added

1Cut the potatoes into 1/2-inch squares, adding salt to them as you go along.

2Fry the potatoes with a low flame, stirring them once in a while.

3When they are soft, add the finely chopped onions to the potatoes.

4The potatoes and onions should be very soft and not too golden.
