- 1/4 c. oil
- 1 O-bone roast, remove fat and bone, cut into very large chunks
- 1 jar chunky salsa (16 oz.)
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp. cumin
- 1 tsp. salt, pepper and garlic
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 large onion, chopped
- 2 c. raw long grain rice
- 3 c. hot water
Directions

1Brown meat in oil until loses pink.

2Add everything except rice.

3Simmer 2 hours; stir occasionally.

4Add rice and simmer 1 more hour.

5Stir occasionally.

6If becomes dry before rice is done, then add more water.

7Cook in large Dutch oven size pan. Cook covered.
