Ingredients
- 6 slices bacon
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 c. water
- 3/4 c. rice (raw)
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. chili pepper
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- dash of bottled hot pepper sauce
Directions

1Cook bacon until crisp; drain on paper toweling, crumble and set aside.

2Drain fat from pan, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings in skillet.

3In bacon drippings, cook onion and green pepper until tender.

4Stir in the next 9 ingredients; cover and simmer for about 30 minutes or until rice is done.

5Add a little water if needed.

6Be sure to dice the tomatoes up, but use all juice.
