- 4 slices bacon
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 (No. 2 1/2) can tomatoes
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. rice
Directions

1Cook rice in 2 cups boiling water until tender.

2Cut bacon into small pieces and saute in skillet until done.

3Remove bacon from skillet and add the beef; stir until lightly browned.

4Pour off fat.

5Add bacon and beef to remaining ingredients.

6Mix well and turn into casserole.

7Cover and bake 1 hour at 350°.

8Add water if needed.
