- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2/3 c. long grain white rice
Directions

1In 2-quart microproof casserole combine all ingredients except rice.

2Cook, covered, on High (max power) 5 minutes or until boiling.

3Stir in rice, cook, covered, on 50 (Simmer) 30 to 35 minutes or until rice is tender.

4Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving.

5Yields 6 to 8 servings.
