- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire
- 3/4 c. ketchup
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 3/4 c. water
- 2 lb. boneless chuck roast
- 2 Tbsp. fat
- 2 medium onions, thinly sliced
Directions

1Combine vinegar, Worcestershire, ketchup, chili powder, paprika, pepper and water; bring to boil and remove from heat. Salt roast to taste, then braise on both sides in hot fat.

2Place in a roasting pan on a piece of foil large enough to cover.

3Top with hot sauce and onions.

4Seal foil and bake in a 300° oven for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until meat is tender, basting frequently with the sauce.
