- 1 1/2 lb. flank or round steak
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 c. chopped green peppers
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 c. sliced onion rings
- 2 c. diced fresh tomatoes
Directions

1Pound steak, cut into serving size pieces and dredge in flour mixed with salt and pepper.

2Brown steak on both sides in oil. Add onions and green pepper and saute.

3Then add tomatoes; cover and cook until steak is tender, about an hour.

4Cook slowly in a large skillet.

5Excellent covered with mashed potatoes.

6Serves 4 to 5.
