  • 1 lb. round steak
  • 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 green pepper
  • chili powder to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 onions (medium)
  • 1 small can pimentos
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Cut meat into small pieces.

    Brown in skillet with olive oil. Add chopped onions.

    Cook until slightly brown.

    Chop celery and green pepper fine.

    Add to other ingredients and bring to a simmer.

    Let simmer for 1 hour.

    Serve over rice, noodles or macaroni that has been cooked separately.
