  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 1 c. water
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon and soda in mixing bowl.

    Bring oleo, water and cocoa to a boil in a saucepan.

    Cool a little and add to first mixture.

    Add eggs, buttermilk and vanilla and mix well.

    Bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes or until done in greased and floured, oblong cake pan.
