  • 2 packages (1/4 ounce each) active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm water (110° to 115°)
  • 8 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 package (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups warm whole milk (110° to 115°)
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons whole milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

    In a bowl, dissolve yeast in water. Add next seven ingredients; mix well (do not knead). Place in a greased bowl; turn once to grease top. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
