Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 c. sifted flour
  • 1 1/4 c. sour cream

    Preheat oven to 375°.

    Grease a 9-inch tube pan.

    Combine for filling 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon, cocoa and nuts; mix and set aside. Sift flour with baking soda and baking powder.

    With electric mixer, beat butter until soft; gradually add in 1 cup sugar until fluffy.

    Beat in eggs one at a time.

    Blend at low speed, flour alternating with sour cream.

    Spoon half of batter into pan. Sprinkle with filling evenly over it, then spread remaining batter evenly over it.

    Bake 1 hour or until cake tester comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in pan.
