  • 2 pkg. frozen green beans
  • 1/4 c. onion, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/3 to 1/2 c. bacon bits
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • salt to taste

Directions

    Cook beans; drain and set aside.

    Cook and drain bacon; cut into bits.

    Saute onion in butter.

    Add flour and blend well.

    Add milk and cook, stirring until smooth and thick.

    Add sugar, vinegar and salt to taste.

    Add green beans and sour cream.

    Heat to serving temperature but do not boil.
