   Combine the syrup and sugar in a saucepan.

   Bring it to a boil and remove it from the heat.

   Add peanut butter and cereal. Spread this in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

   Let it set.

   Melt the chocolate chips and butterscotch chips together and spread them over the bars.
