  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Dash pepper
  • 1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can (15 ounces) garbanzo beans or chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can (15 ounces) great northern beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper

    In a large bowl, combine the sugar, vinegar, oil, salt and pepper. Stir in all remaining ingredients. Cover and refrigerate until serving.
