- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can chicken broth, divided in half

1Press spinach between paper towels to remove extra water.

2Combine spinach and cream cheese in a saucepan.

3Cook over medium-low heat until cheese melts, stirring frequently.

4Remove from heat; stir in half of the broth.

5Transfer spinach to a blender, or use a handheld blender.

6Process on high speed for 1 minute or until smooth, scraping down sides to get all of it blended.

7Return mixture to the saucepan and stir in remaining broth.

8Cook over medium heat until thoroughly heated, stirring frequently.
