- 2 lb. beef or veal stew chunks
- 1/2 c. olive oil
- 1/2 c. wine vinegar
- 1/2 c. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. crushed garlic
- 1 tsp. parsley
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- salt to taste
- pinch or 2 dry mint
- Italian bread
Directions

1Mix all above ingredients together.

2Marinate meat a minimum of 48 hours; more flavor results in 4 days.

3Turn every 24 hours. Cook on skewers on a grill or broil on rack in oven until done. Place speidies side by side (4 to 6) lengthwise in Italian bread; fold and serve.
