Ingredients
- 1 package yeast, active dry
- 1/4 cup water warm
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 13 cup sugar
- 3 1/2 cups flour, all-purpose
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon salt
Directions

1In mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Beat eggs, cream, vanilla and sug ar together until mixture is light and fluffy.

3Stir in yeast.

4Blend dry ingredients; mix in until dough is soft and can be handled easily for rolling.

5Divide in half.

6Roll out both halves 13 inch thick on floured board.

7Cut with Christmas cooky cutters.

8Fry in deep fat heated to 375F (190C).

9until brown .

10Drain on absorbent paper.

11Serve plain, sugared or glazed.
