  • 1 pkg. Duncan Hines moist deluxe spice cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. Crisco oil
  • 4 c. diced apples (yellow Delicious or Granny Smith)
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 c. raisins

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Grease and flour a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Combine cake mix, eggs and oil in a large bowl.

    Beat at medium speed with mixer for 2 minutes.

    Stir in apples, nuts and raisins. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

    Cool completely.

    Serves 12 to 16. Frost with Duncan Hines vanilla frosting.
