  • 1 lb. small carrots, scraped
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c. white vinegar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard seed
  • 3 whole cloves
  • 1 (3-inch) cinnamon, broken

Directions

    Cut carrots into 3-inch long very thin sticks.

    Blanch in boiling water for 3 minutes.

    Drain and cool under cold water. Drain again and place in bowl.
