- 1 pound mixed shelled nuts, such as almonds, cashews, peanuts, etc.
- 2 tablespoons peanut oil
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

2Toss the nuts with the oil, sugar, Chinese five-spice powder and salt.

3Lay the nuts in an even layer in a baking dish.

4Bake until lightly browned, stirring every 5 minutes or so to make sure the nuts cook evenly, 15 to 20 minutes.
