- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/4 c. boiling water
- 2 c. pecan halves
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1In a saucepan, combine sugar, cream of tartar and cinnamon. Place over medium heat; add boiling water.

2Boil and stir until syrup spins a thread.

3Remove from heat; add pecan halves and vanilla.

4Stir briskly until nuts are coated.

5Pour out onto waxed paper and separate with fork.

6Cool and store.
