  • 1 lb. pecan halves
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp. cold water
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves, ground
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. butter

    Heat oven to 225°.

    Put butter on jelly roll pan and let melt. In small bowl, mix sugar and spices.

    In larger bowl, beat egg white and water until frothy.

    Add nuts and toss until coated well.

    Add sugar/spice mixture and toss again.

    Spread out on jelly roll pan and bake 1 hour, turning every 15 minutes.
