- 6 large pears
- 3 teaspoons sugar
- 3 teaspoons cinnamon
- 12 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 2 tablespoons raisins
- 2 tablespoons ouzo
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
Directions

1peel pears leaving stem intact.

2core each pear.

3mix all other ingredients(except puff pastry and egg).

4cut pastry into 6 pieces.

5cut each piece into X shape.

6place 1 pear in centre of each X.

7fill each pear with mixture.

8fold up each side of X to cover pear overlapping.

9brush with water to close.
-
10brush all over with egg/water mixture.

11place on parchment-lined baking tray and bake at 400 for about 210 minutes until golden brown.

12Serve with cream or custard.
